Casa Nova Safra

Temporary terms and conditions for cancellation because of possible quarantaine, closed airports or canceled flight due to covid-19.

Because we are a small business we can not offer you a full refund but we can offer you other options:

- We open the blocked dates of your reservation if we receive a new reservation from other guests for the dates you made your reservation we will refund you in full. 

- Or you can change the dates of your reservation after this crisis is under control. 

We will deduct the paid down payment for this new reservation.

Minimum age to rent a holiday home at Casa Nova Safra is 21 years old.

The minimum stay is 5 days in July & August, the rest of the year 3 days, a shorter stay or an adjusted in - out check is possible after consultation.

We will contact you within 24 hours after receiving your reservation. You are requested to make a down payment of 35% of the total rent within 7 days, after which the reservation becomes definitive. This is confirmed by email. The remaining rent must be paid no later than 4 weeks before arrival. In the event of non-compliance with the payment obligation, the reservation will be canceled without obligation to refund the deposit.

In case you book within 4 weeks of arrival, you must pay the entire rental amount.

Premature departure, regardless of the reason, does not lead to a refund of paid rent or cleaning costs.


Payments can be made with PayPal, in cash or by bank transfer. All prices include VAT and tourist taxes.

If you cancel within 2 months before your arrival, a payment of 35% remains with a minimum of € 80. If canceled within 1 month before arrival, this payment is the full rent.

We recommend that you take out travel and cancellation insurance, of course we will issue an invoice if necessary.


You enter the site of Casa Nova Safra entirely at your own risk.

You are at all times liable for damage / loss of goods belonging to the estate of Casa Nova Safra.

Casa Nova Safra accepts no liability whatsoever for damage, theft, loss of goods or income that you or your group experiences during your stay in the holiday home and property belonging to Casa Nova Safra.

It is recommended to take out travel insurance.

Security Deposit

To cover any damage / loss to your rented holiday villa and surroundings, we ask you to pay a deposit of € 150 in cash upon arrival. If everything is in order at the end of your holiday, we will return the security deposit. 

 If unexpected damage costs are higher than the deposit of € 150, you can contact your travel insurance. As soon as your insurance has reimbursed our damage, you will be refunded the deposit.

Residence holiday home

The number of people allowed to stay in a holiday home is related to the number of fixed beds and may not be exceeded. For an extra bed we charge € 15 per night.


The holiday home is cleaned and spotless. On request we can clean more often during your stay for an a surcharge of € 30 each time.

Beach towels.

Each villa is equipped with towels and beach towels that may not be taken to the beach, beach towels can be rented for €2.50 per towel.

Check in is from 3.00 pm

Once the booking has been confirmed you will receive our confirmation e-mail with the full address of Casa Nova Safra and our contact details.

In general it is possible to check in from 3 p.m. This gives us the time to prepare your holiday villa / studio for your arrival. On arrival the fridge is filled with the basics.

We will always try to accommodate you with an earlier arrival or a later departure. This depends on the previous / next booking. The check-in policy can vary depending on your arrival flight, therefore we ask you to provide your arrival time and flight number. We will let you know if it is possible to check in earlier.


We are ready to welcome you and show you your holiday villa / studio, hand over the keys and inform you about all the details of the holiday accommodation you rented.

Check out 10.00 am

All dishes and kitchenware must be clean or placed in the dishwasher and all trash cans should be empty upon your check out, we will enforce an additional extra fee of 10 euros on top of the cleaning fee if fail to comply. Our cleaner will arrive shortly after 10.00 am to clean the holiday home. We can't stop her, she is a cleaning machine. 

If your flight leaves later in the day, it is possible to store your luggage with us.
